It’s fine to use Cloudflare but there will be a few steps required which differ from Tap’s standard upgrade process because Cloudflare will mask your IP address:
1) From your Cloudflare DNS settings you will see a cloud, this will allow you to temporarily turn Clouflare off. We need you to do this so Tap can see your domains real A record IP address before it allows the upgrade to complete.
2) Click “Check Again” from the dashboard after a few minutes, once Tap has confirmed that your A record has been updated with the IP address specified, you will be able to finish the upgrade.
3) Once your upgrade is complete you can turn Cloudflare back on.
Tap Tip: We recommend using the Full SSL (Strict) setting with Cloudflare.
